What Is an Application Management Service for IAM?
What Tasks Does OEDIV SecuSys Take On During Operations?
We monitor the platform, interfaces, and synchronization processes; manage incidents and problems with defined response times; deploy updates and security patches; integrate new target systems; adapt roles and workflows in accordance with an agreed change process; conduct regular service reviews; and support audits by providing reports from the platform.
Do We Retain Control Over Our Systems?
Yes. Responsibility for your IT infrastructure, target systems, and data remains entirely with you. You decide how we access your systems, for example through your own privileged access solution with logging and session recording. We work with personalized accounts, in accordance with the access, change, and incident management processes agreed with you and in compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Every change is logged and assigned to an individual.
Which IAM Systems Is the AMS Available For?
The AMS is available for all systems for which we provide consulting and implementation services: Identity Governance platforms, Privileged Access and Endpoint Privilege Management, certificate management, Access Management, certificate-based access management with smartcards, and Third-Party Risk Management. Following project completion, we can take over the ongoing maintenance of any of these solutions on request.
We can also take over other platforms following an initial assessment. The scope of services is tailored to your system landscape, current version status, and the tasks that remain in-house — from occasional support for your IAM team to full operational management.
Can You Take Over an IAM Solution Implemented by Another Provider?
Yes. We start with an analysis and definition of the objectives: What has worked well so far? What should be improved in the future? What is the overall goal, and what needs to happen quickly?
After gathering the requirements and objectives, we can, if desired, conduct a Proof of Concept based on a specific item from this list. This is usually a highly critical area that can be implemented within a short timeframe.
If you are satisfied with the results, we then agree on the full transition of services. The duration depends on the scope and current state of your platform.
What Managed Services Are Available Besides AMS?
There are two additional services.
Managed Architecture & Transformation strategically develops your IAM architecture further, including the evaluation of new technologies and approaches, solution design, and the replacement or migration of existing systems.
Managed Strategy & Advisory provides ongoing support for your IAM roadmap and aligns it with your business objectives, compliance requirements, and risk situation.
All three services can be combined, allowing operations, further development, and strategic management to come from a single source.
